Idahoan Foods, a leading U.S. producer of dehydrated potato products, has announced the launch of its new Idahoan +Protein Mashed Potatoes, adding six grams of protein per serving to its popular instant mashed potato line.
According to the company’s release, the +Protein range delivers “the same great-tasting Idahoan mashed potatoes” with the added nutritional boost of high-quality protein. Each pouch provides 24 grams of protein in total, aligning with consumer demand for convenient foods that support more balanced diets.
The new offering comes in three flavors: Buttery Homestyle +Protein, Roasted Garlic +Protein, and Loaded Baked +Protein. Idahoan says the product is designed to help families “plus-up” ordinary meals with extra protein without changing shopping or cooking habits.
“The launch of Idahoan +Protein Mashed Potatoes reinforces our mission to provide delicious, nutritious, and convenient potato products for every table,” the company stated.
Idahoan confirmed the products are already rolling out across U.S. retail outlets and are also available online.
